accepted in NWS Open Juried Exhibit 2007, NWS All Members Show 2007, Allied
Artists of America 2007, Transparent Watercolor Society of America 2007,
Watercolor West 2007, Florida Watercolor Society, Georgia Watercolor
Society, Pennsylvania Watercolor Society, Watercolor Society of Alabama
(award in 2006), Hilton Head Art League, and Cornell Museum in Delray
Beach. Don was president of the Panama Art Association (1976-78) and on the
board of directors of the Visual Art Center of NW Florida (2001-2006). The
artist is a former USMC officer, veteran of Viet Nam, and practicing
veterinarian in Panama City, FL since 1972. Now semi-retired from practice,
he has devoted his time to watercolor, teaching classes at his studio, and
doing workshops in the NW Florida area.
