Carol Lopatin

Carol Lopatin enjoys the challenge of painting on location. Time and moment are fleeting; composition, brushwork and layers of color are used to express a visual narrative of "place".
Ms. Lopatin maintains a studio in the Torpedo Factory Art Center and is represented by Touchstone Gallery in Washington, D.C., Mark Palmer Gallery in Paducah, KY. and Rendezvous Gallery in Paeonia Springs, VA.

She is listed in Who's Who of American Women, and Who's Who in the World, Millennium Edition.

She has won many awards and is included in the permanent collections of Sallie Mae, Washington DC, The National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD and MCGraw Hill Headquarters in New York, among others.

She is honored with signature membership in the National Watercolor Society, and Watercolor USA Honor Society.
