- Miriam has had a life time interest in the arts. Finding stimulation in exploring new materials and techniques, she has studied with Louise Cadillac, Don Andrews, Marilyn Hughy Phillis, Mary Todd Beam and Polly Hammett.
- In addition to watercolor, Miriam uses the mediums of acrylic, pastels and collage. She has received many awards in all of these mediums. A native of Cary, NC, she now lives on Oak Island and exhibits her artwork at Franklin Square Gallery, Southport, NC, Sunset River Marketplace, Calabash, NC and The Artist's Gallery at Lumina, Wilmington, NC.
