SUZANNE REED FINEemail: suzannefine@charter.net Suzanne Reed Fine's work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions throughout the southeast. In addition, her work is in private and corporate collections. She has studied color and water media with Stephen Quiller. Suzanne was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1967. She grew up in Colorado and received a B.F.A. from Adams State College in Alamosa, Colorado in 1989. Her passion for drawing was her focus through college. Trained in Graphic Design and Marketing, she spent many years as a graphic designer. She began painting in 1993 working in various Watermedia. Her interest in people and their stories as well as abstraction are her focus in her paintings. Combining the quiet of the figure with the drama of abstraction creates an intense interaction. Her work is shown at the Lagerquist Gallery in Atlanta and The Joseph House Gallery in Columbus, GA. She is a member of the Georgia Watercolor Society, the Southern Watercolor Society, Watercolor Society of Alabama, Member of the National League of American Pen Women and a member of the Columbus Artists' Guild. She teaches watermedia and drawing at the Rankin Arts Center of Columbus State University. She lives in Columbus, GA with her husband and two young daughters. |
